About Us

Woodend Flowers was established in 2019. After 10 years of working in local flower shops in the area, helping to supply unique wedding flowers, personal sympathy and funeral tributes, as well as every day flowers for birthdays, anniversaries etc. I then went on to freelance for other florists, making and delivering weddings where i got to concentrate more on wedding construction and the venue dressing side. I then took the plunge and started working for myself, initially making Christmas wreaths and assembling floral house dressings, from fireplace garlands and table decorations for the festive period. This then spiralled into Wedding and Funeral flower orders and fulfilling deliveries for the local area, whatever the occasion. 

 

The aim has always been to offer modern, seasonal, countryside flowers that are arranged in a rustic and natural fashion and gift wrapped in biodegradable and recyclable material. I endeavour to work hand in hand with the seasonal availability and to offer a friendly and personal customer service. I always buy top quality, seasonal flowers and have developed great contacts within the very best suppliers throughout Britain and across the world. This helps me maintain a regular supply of the very best and stunning flowers and foliages. 

 

My inspiration is taken from gardens and hedgerows across Cheshire to bring the very best of the outdoors, indoors, to your home, for you to enjoy and to be as rustic, natural and as loose as possible in my designs. I enjoy using naturally foraged materials such as twigs, pheasant feathers and berries in my work as well as locally sourced moss and pine cones at Christmas.

 

Although we don’t have a shop, it works to our advantage as we buy to order, therefore, your flowers are always fresh and we never have any waste or old stock. This also means that our full attention is on your order, whether it be a hand tied bouquet or an arrangement for a friend or family member, or your wedding flowers or sympathy tributes for a loved one. Where ever possible, we try to include your specific colour or flower choice requirements if requested.
